High level Professionals Are Feeling the Squeeze – Check Out David Sprague

of the economy, insurances and people feeling slighted by all of it. Once it was
almost untouchable to target a professional especially Doctors and Lawyers
that may have problems with clients, but not anymore. Lawsuits of every kind
have riddled our society and now it seems that anyone can sue anyone for anything.
Problem being a person has to defend themselves at all cost or be guilty for no reason.
The only way I see these new professionals and every business out there being able
to maintain higher standards and satisfy clients better, is to become technically savvy.

With all of the new electronics available to the marketplace it has become
increasingly hard to manage and learn how to use all we are blessed with. In
my opinion information overload is something everyone is hassling with and
education for information management has become one of the top concerns.

When it comes to our knowledge of these new devices it seems almost impossible
to keep up with all the advances. Especially, when we start talking about all the
mobile devices available now. I purchased a $600 smart phone which became
aniquaited as soon as the new one came out. I still don’t know everything it can
do or how to operate it.

But the point of my blog today is to exclaim the
virtues of a certain teacher. His name is David Sprague.

He teaches local marketing as well as regular and mobile marketing. David has this certain
sense of how to teach things very clearly in videos. His main software is

Maps Marketing Blueprint and Maps Marketing Genius.

This is high quality information for the entrepreneurial marketer. It’s major strategies
on how to do them step by step. These videos are clear and concise. David Sprague
is a master at how to market locally as well as on the internet.

David Spague also sells something called SEO Blog Kahuna. This is an SEO plugin
that installs into any Wordpress Blog and will help to automatically show what needs
to be done to the blog, in percentages and allows SEO for correction before you publish.
I highly recommend it.

David Sprague also coined the the term Reputation Marketing Blueprint. These are
all excellent products and are very well documented by his videos.

Finally, one of his good friends, Alexander Krulik, has made Magic Submitter, The Traffic Wizard.
This software is so powerful and easy to use it can really make
the difference in your business. It creates back-links the right way.

Focus on The Goal

One Thing That Everyone Needs To Be Successful IS Focus

Until this post right here I have been working in a fog. Not focused, not very clear, with no particular purpose.

The Master’s Retreat course has finally brought these areas of into play. I’ve been working at Empower Network for some time now and I now know why it hasn’t been as productive as it could be…

Listening to David Wood talk about setting goals
and how clear he is about the image he creates when
he describes his goals…

Then he said something that made a lot of sense….

He said,”you can’t get down and depressed or discouraged
if you are busy doing productive actions”….

This just settled on me and I started listening to what the leaders have been saying the whole time.

My own sponsor Aaron Rashkin told me
the biggest thing to do is get focused.

 

In the 15K formula Rob Fore brought out the thought
that we should set goals on a process basis.

Thinking about what they both have said
explaining why it becomes necessary to have clarity.
Rob said to use processes like blogging and advertising
as ways to determine clarity. I’ll try to expand that
thought.

Intention – Focus:

It’s entirely possible to loose focus and start
doing nothing because we’re unclear as what
our true intentions are….

What needs to happen is a clear intention
has to be defined on everything we do.

If our actions reflect the true intention we have
clearly set-up in our goal, then rather than
looking at the goal as far away or unattainable,
we can focus on the process at hand.

Purpose – Focus:

Our purpose for doing what actions we do is
directly proportionate to our intentions….

If our intentions are not clearly marked with a
straight pathway to reaching our goals then
we will fail because of the lack of clear vision.

If we can start with the smallest of processes
and work toward the end result…

clarity from process to process defines our purpose.

It’s relatively simple when we can say blog
once a day, listen to audio’s once a day, read
positive books once a day, make a video once
a day.

These things are small processes but, they
are also our intentions. If our intentions aren’t
clear, then we wind up doing nothing…

We need to clarify each process in each day and
then do massive action. Which really means do
the action it takes to reach the goal.

Every time I have ever been able to succeed at something it was because of practice,
knowing what to do is no big deal, 90% action and 10% training. When you practice,
it’s the 90% amount of practice that gets success. Basketball, or any sport for that
matter, certainly tells us “you have to practice to be good at it”, only knowing the
rules to play are maybe 10% of the game.

Why is then when we come into the internet arena that we think we have to learn
the rules 90% and practice 10%. How many people watch video after video trying
to find the answers when it’s all in the practice where we learn the most.

In my computer business, I could read book after book to find the answers, but
until I actually tried, what I had learned, did I find out how to fix computers. It’s
always been 90% action and 10% training. Just think of all the hours of training
compared to how many days are spent in the field learning the real business.

I bet that I could go get a contractors license and be able to build houses, but
just because I know how, doesn’t mean I could help anyone to build a good house.
It takes experience, action, and doing, to understand the relevance of knowledge.

It’s 90% Action and 10% Training

When it come to learning, humans seem to learn from their experiences. So, in the
internet marketing business, why is it so hard to do the actions that lead us to the
success? I think it’s because of fear. The fear of the unknown. I think it stops many
people from doing, instead of learning or training. But if we don’t do 90% action
and 10% training we will never reach the knowledge available for success.

The best way to succeed is to do. Blogging is a very good exercise in learning by
experience. It requires us to go beyond the normal and reach for more. It takes
moving through the fear of not knowing, to knowing how we feel. Knowing and
being focused is the basis for action in most people. We have a tendency to
forget that it’s the action that brings on the knowing part.

90% action and 10% training archery

I took up archery when I was a boy. I remember coming home from school every
day and stringing up my bow, grabbing the arrows and fixing the target. Then I
would practice my 90% actions and believe me when I say, only 10% did I have
to know to pull back that bow and arrow and let it fly. It’s a sport that requires
focus on the target, smooth delivery of the package and hitting the target.

This in turn gives a result. Usually, it results in confidence. The more you practice

the more you develop confidence. The more consistently you develop confidence
the better qualified you are to learn more. Success comes from knowing, consistently
and confidently, knowledge and sharing it.

On the internet, we have a bigger chance to use our talents, quicker, than most
places because of the freedom to express ourselves and learn. It all comes back
to 90% action and 10% training. Practice consistently, focus on your target,
develop a smooth delivery and the results will be success.

What’s Your Dream? How Are You Going To Get It? How Will You Spend It?

What's your dream about? Today, I wanted to talk with you about what’s your dream. I’ve thought about this a lot…. What do I really want? What do you really want? What’ your dream? Many people say they want money – but really what they want, is what money can do for them. Just like when you go to the hardware store to get a drill… It’s not the drill you had gone there to get, it was a hole….right? Same thing with money. If I only had enough money to get what I want. Why aren’t you going to the internet to pick up some holes? That probably doesn’t make much sense…. What’s your dream? But, when you think of the things money can get, then what?

What’s Your Dream?

Sure it would be nice, to have a nice car, boat, cloths, shoes, items – but, isn’t the real reason to make a lot of money is to be free of money? Isn’t what all of us want is freedom to do what we want when we want too! To have time to spend in order to be with friends and family, doing what we want in O-so-many ways. Those are really the holes we purchased by buying the drill. We want money to do the same thing for us so we can be free. I personally decided, when I started this idea, that I would not be able to be a computer technician all the rest of my life. I wanted more. I wanted to have time, freedom, retirement in comfort and family around that loves me. What’s your dream? Looking at all the ways to make money, I decided to use the internet and leverage the vast number of people, leverage the vast knowledge of others and leverage the billions of dollars that past by everyday. Knowing what I want is the very first step. I know how much I want, I know how to get it and I know the best way to get it. You might be asking how I got to that point… Well, I’ll tell you. I’ve personally spent every dime I had on programs, applications, education, courses, meetings, and travel. It has not done what I had imagined until I made the decision to get ‘all in’. I had to commit to making a difference in my own life. I had to make a decision that I wanted the holes in life and not really the money… Stop for a minute and think….why don’t I have what I want? If all you’re hearing are excuses then you’re not ‘all in’. Are you willing to listen to your negative programming  and make reasons why…. when it’s really yourself holding you back. If you really wanted to travel around the world, what is stopping you….nothing, nothing at all. Just start walking! Take what you have with you…. It may take a while but you’ll make it. But… but what? You don’t want it that bad? Stop and listen to what goes on next in your head. Do yourself a favor and stop listening to why you can’t travel around the world or anything else for that matter…. Seek out only how you can do it!! There are people realizing this fact everyday. Wouldn’t be refreshing to hang out with someone that was urging you to succeed. They are making huge amounts of money but that’s not why they are wealthy. They are wealthy because they have the time to enjoy their life. They have a system that works and you can have a system that works for you too! It’s not get rich quick, it’s simple but, not easy…. It takes work and time and desire coupled with passion to make it… Doesn’t making a lot of money sound good, when you know you’re doing it for the right reasons. Working For Home Office Production – How Can You Get More?

Many of us work from our home office and it is sometimes hard
to make sure you’re working at full home office production.

Recently, my neck started hurting and getting stiff. I couldn’t
turn my head to the right or the left without strong pains
shooting up into my head.

So, I went to the doctor’s office and told them about my problem.
I was actually sent to a physical therapist that is helping out. He
has me doing exercises to loosen up my neck.

His first question was to find out how my home office was configured
with my computer equipment and seating. He wanted to find out how I was
setting in my chair. Was I setting up straight or leaning backwards. This is really why home office production can suffer.

I had a feeling that mine was off but, I didn’t know how much
it was off kilter. What he wanted  was for me to set up squarely, feet on the
floor, he said to have my thighs parallel to the floor, knees bent
90 degrees and my arms should be parallel with my thighs.

I had to make a tray for my keyboard and mouse and lower them
closer to my thighs.

He said that I needed to set up straight and press my back forward
to get a good posture…..

He suggested that I have a good chair with a stationary back. He
guested and was right, that I had a chair that would swivel backwards.
He also said the chair has a fixed mode and I should be fixed all
the time, until you need to break and that is what the swiveling
mode is for.

Then he said to make sure that I was not reaching any distance to
get to my mouse and keyboard.

This Sunday I built a keyboard and mouse shelf to lower the keyboard
down to my knees and it seems to fell better already.

He also requested that I should take breaks every hour. So I set up
my phone to be my timer. I set the timer at 55 minutes allowing for
a break every hour.

I had to start taking lots of breaks to give myself  the needed time
to help heal my neck….

I’m the type of person that gets totally involved
in a project and would not stop until it was done.
(maybe 8-10 hours at a time) I would forget to eat
and would not move for hours.

It’s time to get my exercises done so I can resume my activities….

 

Home Office Production

 

Ok, back to work. It’s nice to take the little break and I’m more concentrated
on getting work done in hour increments. Especially, blogging.

It just seems to be something you should be able to do in an hour or so….

So, now I have moved my screens closer to me, so I’m not straining to see them
so much. I was leaning forward, letting my head sink and neck sink slightly and
tilting my head upward. I didn’t realize I was doing it until my neck was so
sore I couldn’t move my head to the right or left without pain.

The therapist also suggested that I stop reaching for the mouse. He said to move
it so reaching it would be easier without moving my arm very far. In addition,

he said, “don’t leave your hand on the mouse when your not using it.”

Bottom line is, exercise is still the best remedy for stiffness. Even in small
doses it really works to help everything.

Your Actions Prove How Big Your Reason Why Is

Your Reason Why Defined

Until I attended the Austin event this last weekend, I had not awakened my reason why. The reason I know that is what I started doing when I got home. Sure, I had a reason why I did things but, it consistently stayed in my comfort zone. How can anyone do better if they keep doing the same things they have been doing.

Reason Why?

My thinking was, I was doing everything they said to do but, I was leaving something out every time. What I would do, is say I was blogging everyday but, I would miss a few days. Especially, during the first 90 days.

I called it writers block. What that really means is I did not start the action because my reason why was just half baked. With me, there was always something left out…
I wouldn’t go that little bit extra that is needed to get the job done…
In other words, I was not ‘all in‘…
What I was, was mediocre, and my business showed it! My business was just the same way, mediocre.

There is a difference when you get to a certain point. Just as water being boiled, it doesn’t actually boil until it reaches 212 degrees. It doesn’t make steam until it gets to a certain point…
Neither does business…
We have to make sure it’s boiling all the way and creating steam…
With steam we can make cars, trains and turbines move mountains

If we get a head of steam up with the reason why, all of a sudden passion kicks in…
When that happens the rest of the world feels it (I don’t really know how, but it does)

and magically, just like boiling water, business takes off because of our reason why.

The bigger your reason why, the bigger the results…
When we first start out, we’re all taught to ‘think big’. But, what does that really mean?

It has to do with the reason why we do what we do… slowly for most of us,

it takes time to realize the reason why we do things. When it finally dawns the picture gets clear, which promotes actions.

That’s what makes everything boil… everything!

When we have a clear cut reason why, it even becomes easier to do the actions necessary to carry out our dreams.

 

Get your reason why to a boil and stir it with action and just see what happens…

I have found that if you use these 4 principles you have the foundation to achieve internet marketing success.

I will attempt to give you my ideas as a way to help you. However, there are hundred of ways to accomplish success…..

My ideas have originated from my experiences and may not be yours or others around you, but know these to be principles, not a clear cut path.

What is the absolute first thing you need in order achieve internet marketing success?

Principle #1  To Achieve Internet Marketing Success –  TRAFFIC

Traffic is the only real thing you need. You find that presumptuous, but there is not a business of any kind that does not need it. Why do you think Walmart has the biggest retail marketing business in the world…

Have you ever been to Walmart when it has not had traffic!  That’s why they are the biggest.

They have traffic and lot’s of it…

So you’re asking how did they get this traffic…

They got it with ‘blue light specials’, low prices, volume…

We ask ourselves,”How can I get traffic. Simple tell as many other people about your business as you can. You just need more volume….

Just go out and do it…..

Something happens at a point, when all things go viral. By this I mean word of mouth.

How many times have you heard, “word of mouth is the best advertising”, by far we know when it goes viral, it can be really big.

As Chris Record says, “apply massive action to obtain massive results.”

Principle #2  To Achieve Internet Marketing Success – Start Page, Landing Page, Capture Page and Possibly a Squeeze Page:

To achieve internet marketing success on the internet there has to be a Landing/Capture page. In fact it has to have certain things it or it will fail to get that viral effect we talked about in principle #1.

It has to have something the target market wants or needs….

Most of the attention getting information should be ‘above the fold’….

It has to have some way to get attention and get the prospects email address, possibly a name, and possibly a phone number (SMS preferrably). It really depends on what kind of business you are targeting. And believe me when I say targeting, you have to know your target….

With a bow and arrow you just don’t go shooting arrows everywhere, you’d be losing all of your arrows….

Same thing to achieve internet marketing success, make sure you have a target. Don’t lose all your arrows (advertising money) by not having a good target.

What is a Squeeze Page? A Squeeze is a page designed to explain and offer information about your Sales page. It used mostly by advanced internet marketers to ease the new prospect into their sales funnel.

Principle #3  To Achieve Internet Marketing Success – Have a good Sales Page

Having an excellent sales page is at the center of your campaign. It leads your new prospects to what you are selling and why they need it. If it doesn’t it’s not going to convert.

The proven best way to sell people is to make sure it’s solving the problems of your target market….

By this I mean you identify the problem, you give a reason why there’s a problem and then give the answer….

At the end make sure they have enough information to make a decision. Presently, a video is the best form of communication available. Video’s used to be very expensive and hard to use on the internet; not anymore. Whether you show up in the video or not the content is faster and easy to digest.

At the end of the presentation, no matter what it is, make sure you communicate, why they are there, what they want and how to get it, then repeat it again. Sound strange, it’s not….

Principle #4  To Achieve Internet Marketing Success – Conversion to Buy or a Join Page

When your presentation is over and you have finished the final step to achieve internet marketing success is to have a great ‘call to action’ and a way to buy what you offer.

On the buy page there should be enough information to convince them you are legit. This is fairly simple to achieve, just look at the last thing you purchased on the internet and there you have it. Or look around and you’ll find some kind of join page…..

I have been marketing now for three years and the first twoyears I spent realizing these Priciples to achieve internet marketing success….

Now that I have been seeing results, it’s necessary to help others.

Aren’t the New Strategies Passion, Focus and Consistency?

Passion, Focus and Consistency Are the New Strategies.

This is the second day since getting home from Austin, TX. and the ‘Release Your Inner Badass’. It had a profound message, which I would like to share, in my own words . First it was really fun. Seeing that many people in one place, with that much enthusiasm, was phenomenal. It’s far reaching effect was totally felt by the majority that attended.

Passion:

Live with Passion

 

 

What is it that will make you happy and peaceful? (When I say you I mean us) Ask yourself the question,”what would I be doing if I had already met my financial goals and did not have it hanging over my head?” Only the person in the mirror that asks the question can answer the question.

Here’s my feeling. If I had all the money to be comfortable, what would I be doing? In my case I love what I’m doing and I am having fun, but I admit not the kind of fun I could be having. We have something inside that says ‘can’t until’ this happens or that happens. This is just our ‘negative inside guy’ directing traffic.

We don’t have to listen to his directions anymore! ‘Release your innner badass‘ and stomp the shit out of that ‘negative inside guy’ and start with all the passion you can muster.

The only way you can be stopped is by the next thing….

Focus:

FOCUS Passion Consistency

 

Now that the direction is located and we know exactly where we are going; that by itself is not enough. We must define the exact route we intend to take; focus. For instance I need to be ‘all in‘ as soon as possible. I have set the goal of doing it before or by Feb. 28, 2013. I will also have a system that will deliver 2 per day. Now, how can that happen. I need for my own personal goal, the $3,500, for the masters courses.

Which means I have to set a goal of $7,000 or more to reach that goal, because of living expenses and advertising. It is Feb. 23, 2013. That leaves me with 35 days of working time to accomplish this goal. That means I will have to earn $200 a day or more.

I’m selling the Empower Network Viral Blogging System for $25 per month. That would require 8 sign ups per day. I have been told that 2 a day would do it because of the other products being sold in the sales funnel.

So, if I have 10 leads per day and I have not been getting even one conversion per day, then I need more leads….

I will look at the advertising I’m doing and will generate 25 leads per day. This way I have a chance at 2 per day. Once the 25 leads are coming in, I will have enough to see if I get my conversions or whether I will have to go to 50 leads per day….

When I get 2 leads per day I will be on my way….. (David Wood said so and I believe him!)

Consistency:

I have promised myself that I will blog everyday, at least once, if on three times ( I have 3 blogs). I make at least two videos or more per week and publish all of it. The real secret is consistency, if any of you were wondering.

Consistency, is by far the most needed quality for success in online internet marketing. It is not enough to do the best you can, because the ‘best you can’ may be the ‘negative inside guy’ holding you back. Don’t let it happen… Go until you finish or pass out! Yes, if you have too!

But, just think of how proud you will be by Feb. 28, 2013 when you look back and you have actually reached your goal and are now are success-full. Now, take all the money you have earned and buy what you need to get ‘all in‘, then invest in yourself and put 20% of it back into the business. Stay Consistent.

If you have any problems doing this little plan, Just Stomp the Shit out of the ‘negative inside guy or gal’ and go for it!

Badass Event in Austin, Tx – Passion Was Running at the Highest Levels

It was the ‘Badass Event’ in Austin, Tx and the Passion was running at the highest levels I’ve ever seen!!!

This is where ‘badass‘ entrepreneur’s learned at the highest level, what the internet online business, Empower Network, could do for them. There was a stampede to “get all in” at the end of the conference. Everyone wants to earn money like the pros.  Thousands per day!!

What a conference of 4000 people! We stormed the Hilton in Austin, TX with at least the most excited, passionate group that they have saw or I have ever seen. I was literally amazed at the excitement in the room. All of the major income earners had the chance to show up and speak about what they thought was important. I was impressed with my sponsor Aaron Rashkin, Rob Fore, Chris Record and Tracey Walker.

From my point of view, there seemed to be a thread running through the whole meeting. That was to get involved at the highest level, be consistent and focused. Many of the speakers, by the way, are total ‘badasses’ earning incredible money. Some them are earning over 7 figures. This business is so awesome because it pays out 100% commissions to everyone that is an Empower Network affiliate.

Let’s start with passion. What makes us want to do a home based business anyway? What are we trying to get out of it? Money, a boat, a car, a house, something you want? Every time I start thinking about this passion, I look at myself and say, “what is it you really want?”

What will make you happy; really happy? Well, one of the exercises they performed on the stage was a way to find out, clearly, what it is to be or follow your passion. When we first start, most everyone says money and lots of it. But, how many times do you here “money isn’t all it is”. So, they said, what would that bring you?

Everyone had to think hard. There were a lot people including myself that said ‘freedom’. Because I want to be free of the money dependence. Then they asked us, ” if you had all the money you had set in your goal for and you were experiencing happiness, then what is really holding you back? It isn’t the money, freedom or happiness. We think that’s what we want but the bottom line is, none of the things we think will do it-will actually do it.

We are the only persons that can look in the mirror and see what the problem is, us individually, we are the only ones that can make us happy…..

So, what is it you really want? Isn’t it being happy, joyful, because we experience exactly what we want out of life. Think about all the things you do that you could do to be happy. Are perhaps we’re not doing yet. Are any of the things you’re currently doing, holding you back?

In order to become clear about it, what is your real passion. When a person realizes that exact thing and starts working for it then you have purpose. No one has every gone anywhere without a clear purpose. Passion at the highest levels will bring you happiness and joy if you help others to get the same thing.

Passion at the highest levels is probably the hardest thing for most to master….

You could just see in the leaders eyes, that they had transformed their lower self’s into a person that was generating an attraction that help others to do the same. That is why passion at the highest levels is what we need.

The fastest way to get it is to hang around with the leaders and successful people. Go to the conferences and events designed to get your creative juices flowing. It’s like getting your battery charged. The leaders are the battery charger. They want you to make money online, but they really want to help everyone to become passionate and clear about themselves. This way we can replicate our desires in others. Passion is the only thing that makes real change happen.

So, I identified, the reason I have been where I am right now, fear. My fear is keeping me from getting outside myself. I will be working on it starting right now. By February 28, 20013, I will have earned the money to get all in, which I really desire. I will be helping 2 per day to get their wants, needs and passions by helping them get ‘all in’ and clear.

It’s time to become a ‘badass leader too’!!!
